Into the mist...and out to Safe (South) Haven

The plan was...................get up early and get off to South Haven.  Well at 6:30am there was thick, dense, pea-soup fog!!  I sent the crew back to bed and went for a jog (after updating the blog).  At 9am it was still pretty thick but we set out for fuel supply and pump out.  At 10 it was thick...11...12...ugh!!  Luckily we had Tom our trusty bow look out leading the way.

By 1pm the skies had cleared and all was 'perfect'....except there was no wind and the lake was glass...motor boat perfect.  So we carried on until 45 min before South Haven arrival...roughly 6pm when "Admiral-In-Training" Cindy said..."STOP THE BOAT...it's appetizer time."  So we pulled the plug on the engine and floated for an hour soaking up the wonderful sunshine.  I even went for a swim!

"Chris-Craft Chris" announced time to go and in we went to South Haven.  Nice place.  Not sure we will have time to explore tomorrow but we will return.

Best wishes to all!!!
